About Me

Although I grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as my personal savior at the age of seven, I shunned Jesus when I turned 18.

For over 20 years I did not attend church. I filled my life with all sorts of secular pleasures. Ever hear of the old adage "Sex, drugs, and Rock 'n Roll"? I can say I lived that mantra at times. In my 20 year high school reunion memory book, each graduate was asked to fill out a section titled "Highlights Of My Life Since High School". That section for me reads:

Very successful financially - working for a Fortune 500 company. No kids, still single, living the partying rock-n-roll, hot tubbing lifestyle!

I lived a life of going to rock concerts and clubs. And when I was not out about the town, my house was known as party central. My large house featured multiple kegs of beer on tap in the garage, big screen tv, spendy stereo system and the ultimate hot tub setup.

During this time of my life, I did quite well financially. I had multiple new cars that were completely paid off. A collection of over 2,000 compact discs. A large collection of concert dvd's. Always the best and newest electronics. Materialism was rampant in my life.

It all changed for me in February of 2003. At that time, I re-accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior in my life. No more anesthetizing myself with what the world had to offer. I started the transformation of renewing my mind with that which is good and that which pleases the Lord.

Through my walk with the Lord, I have found an abundance of great Christian music to listen to. My wife and I have discovered some great Christian movies that we have enjoyed. I have come across that some great Christian books that have enlightened me.

As I keep finding great Christian music, movies, books, and other media, God has put the desire in my heart to share with others what I have discovered. Hence, Living Waters Media exists.

In 2011, I had my 30 year high school reunion, I was asked again to fill out that section titled "Highlights Of My Life Since High School". One may wonder how it reads now. The last line reads:

The highlight of my life is best summed up Philippians 3:8.

If you are wondering what the scripture means, you can find the answer here.

I hope you enjoy the resources on this site and may it help contribute to your walk with the Lord.
