Average Joe
Average Joe is a fantastic movie that chronicles the true story of Joe Kennedy, a high school football coach whose commitment to his faith led to a landmark U.S. Supreme Court Battle.
The story is awesome, but I found the film's unique storytelling style especially compelling. Throughout the movie, you see interviews with Joe and his wife, Denise, where they explain exactly what's going through their minds at that moment. By having the characters acknowledge they are in a film and address the audience directly, the movie effectively "breaks the fourth wall."
I am inspired by this true-life story. Joe's refusal to compromise and fight the good fight of faith is admirable. 1 Corinthians 16:13 says "Be on guard. Stand firm in faith. Be courageous. Be strong."
