George had a calling on his life. Despite his godly upbringing, he strayed from the Lord. And after he started living for God, he experienced twists and turns he did not see coming. But he kept God first, and God blessed him abundantly as he navigated difficulties and hardships.
As I watched this film, I thought about how we all have different callings in our life. There are some people that are called to be pastors and missionaries. Other people may not have the calling. You could be called to be the janitor of your church, or some other behind the scenes work at your church. Or you could be called to be a stay-at-home mom and God's assignment for you is to support your husband and raise your kids in a godly manner.
Jeremiah 29:11 states the Lord has plans for us. They are plans for good, to give us a future and hope. God has it all planned out. We must pray, listen, ask, and connect with Him to fulfill the plans He has for us.
