Faith Of Our Fathers

Faith of our Fathers is part comic road trip, part serious soul searching movie. It's a film about two vastly different men whose fathers served together in Vietnam. The men embark on a journey to discover more about their father's love for each of them, even though neither of them ever met their father.

The movie is a little uneven. You have humorous scenes, and very serious scenes. There are also various flashbacks to Vietnam. The movie has a good message. The main characters learn that the devastation of war cannot break the love of a father for his son. Just as we see that love in the movie, I'm reminded of our heavenly Father's love for us. John 1:31 says "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God."
