The Blind is the true story of Duck Dynasty reality star Phil Robertson. The film vividly details what his life was like before he came to know Jesus. Whether you have had terrible family dynamics that haunt you, a shameful past, or addictions, redemption can be found. I'm amazed to see where Phil Robertson was at one point in his life, before he turned his life over to Christ. To see where his is now is an example of s God's goodness.
A well written script, wonderful cinematography, and excellent performances make this an enjoyable movie. It's a powerful story of someone running from their pain and finding the true answer.
There are many redemption verses in the Bible. After watching this movie, Isaiah 44:22 comes to mind - "I have wiped out your wrongdoings like a thick cloud and your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you."
