More Like Falling In Love by Jason Gray

What is the feeling like when you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior? Is it simply a belief or something deeper? What can you compare that experience to? How would you explain that feeling to someone?

For me, I equate the feeling to that of being in love for the first time, only much stronger and much deeper. There was an emotional change in me, a feeling that I could feel to the depths of my soul. I felt my heart change. I suddenly felt "free".

What it wasn't about was suddenly becoming "religious". It wasn't about a set of rules that I now needed to follow.

Some people claim they are Christian because they believe that Jesus Christ was a real person who appeared on this earth 2000 years ago. However, if they don't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, if they have not had a true heart change, and if they have not been "born again" (see John 3:3), they don't know what they are missing.

Accepting Jesus Christ as my personal savior is the greatest experience I have had in my life. Jason Gray has done an excellent job of describing the feeling of personally knowing Jesus in his song "More Like Falling In Love". You can listen to and view the lyrics here.
